Anyone know how to lengthen the sample time in the NN-XT but not affect it's pitch? Granular stretching basically...

cant do it with the nn-xt..actually i havent found a way to do it with recycle yet either (but i just got recycle) but i dont ever really need to time streach samples. what i do (and this is my sample workflow preocess) is load up the nnxt with my samples all in the same key. i take one sample adjust the start point to start on a kick and play it for 8 bars and loop it. then lay a kick on the ones and threes and a snare on the 2's and 4's. then i adjust the sample pitch/tempo of the song untill im lined up. after that i know what key all my samples need to be in to be on tempo...after that chop chop chop

i dont even know if you needed that info..im jus mad bored

You can't do it in the nnxt.
you have to take the sample into recycle, slice it, and change the tempo (i.e. stretch it) there. Then export it or save it and use it with Dr Rex.

Can't go into detail with this but the recycle manual explains this very well.
the results sound even better than time stretching.

yea u can use granular stretching, but it doesnt really work that well
