Spanish Guitar

Does anybody have know a good soundfont/vst of a spanish guitar (i.e. like in 112's or B2K lol Bump, Bump, Bump). I've tried out a few, but they sound fake and crap. If anybody can help, it would be appreciated.

to get that spanish guitar feel, simply use a Nylon-string guitar and play chords/scales/melodies from the the phrygian mode w/ a flattened 3rd (also known as the Spanish phrygian scale). i'd also recommend studying spanish flamenco music. such as the common scales, chords, etc.

Flamenco will sometimes RAISE the third, though.

Yeah, we got off on a little tangent...

Anyways, simulating a strummed guitar is one of the harder things to do in synthesis/sampling. I've heard the Motif does an OK job at it, but I don't know any specific soundfonts or VST's.

You should buy an acoustic guitar. About a bill ($100) yet you'd have to tune the guitar (buy new strings and such).

I've been thinking of me purchasing one, a whole 'nother story.

i use music labs realguitar, it's pretty good, sounds realistic if you know how guitar notes work, and how to play them like a guitar on a keyboard.
