Musical Genius
When I make beats, I never really know what I'm going to make (well, sometimes). I may start off making a trap beat, then have the urge to speed the tempo up and realize it sounds better as a "west coast" style beat. Or I might start off with a bay area or YG style melody and end up putting dance hall drums or raggaeton, and changing the instrument of the melody. One day I started making a dance hall beat and it ended up being a Run DMC style 80s beat. I'm unpredictable to myself but it made me realize how similar all styles of music are.. Small changes can make the biggest difference and it always amazes me.
