snare/clap/shaker sound

hi, does anyone know how to achieve this short clap/snare sound? almost sounds like a shaker. I also hear DJ Smokey 666 use this sound in his beats a lot as well. If anyone can give some insight i would appreciate it.

It's a snare layered with a clap that happens to have alot of high frequencies. Just layer a snare with quick attack and release with a clap that has quick attack and release than then use EQ to raise the higher frequencies slightly.
