Site to learn Music theory/Composing, etc.?

Do you guys know of any sites that I could learn some basic music theory and stuff like that to help me step my game up? If there are any sites that you guys know of that helped you, can you please share them with me? Thanks

I went to the library and devoured every book on the subject. You know books, paper, trees. Buildings where they loan you books for short periods of time... nevermind.

Just "google" the subject(s) you are looking for. It will be in so many places its crazy. Try just using what you did in your original question.

sorry to jump on this thread, but what about chord theory for the different genre's of music? Any suggestions?
