SG Lewis style vocals autotune with glide with G Snap plugin

Hey folks, I'm moving towards using some of my own vocals in my tracks. Much like SG Lewis, I can't exactly sing on pitch but I'm fascinated with vocoders and these tools we have that make up for that. Anyone able to dissect his technique used in the vocals on this EP?

I love the way it sounds. It's got this nasally quality, I would guess he cut down the frequencies between like 2 and 5K. There may be a backing track with a vocoder just barely in the mix like he used for Gone.

But the main effect is the autotune that glides between notes. (uueis thaait yoouiir man, thoouuee ooine in-side). It sounds super original, no T Pain. I'm just getting into autotune, I downloaded G Snap and figured out how to route midi notes to it in ableton like a vocoder, but I still haven't really figured it out. If anyone's familiar with the plugin or has any guesses as to how Lewis accomplished the effect, let me know!
