Where does this guy get his drums from?

Does he tune the ones on his keyboard or do you think he got em somewhere else?
 
sounds like the harmonic distortion of a EL-8 to me..

maybe with some gated reverb (with lowpass possibly)
 
his drums are just eq'd and ****ed with, i heard he does it through the ssl board, and samples the drums back into his mpc where he messes with it on there, alot of his sounds are out there hes using the same **** as us....
its not hard to make good sounding drums though ....u just have to work on it

and if ur talking about the drums like on lean back, i managed to make my bass drum sound 100% like his, without reverb without distortion or anything else ... its just alot of messing around with eq

yo i got a set of quality scott storch drums 690 to be exact all filed into hi hats kicks etc. get at me on Aim at MagnumX1045 and ill send
 
Its not a tom i kinda thought that at first but its just the pitch on the bass drum and the eq he also uses compression

Not sure, but I have a sample pack of his that someone uploaded on here and it is far from impressive. Someone on here even recreated one of his songs in an .rns file, and once again it was not amazing.
 
Just EQ your drums and compress them right. Experiment. Layer.
