Sampling from old vinyl :)

hey, aLL,

I was just fooling around with some old 45's that I found in my basement and was taking a few samples-

However, i noticed the sound i got was kinda crackly and mediocre. I was wondering if you all had any tips on recording from vinyll to digital formats a la .wav files. Thanks!

put them thru a mixer and experiment with the volume that you are sending them into the sampler at. Sometimes it is good to try having the mixer at a lower volume setting.
