Hello everyone

Reverb is a useful effect which can be used in a wide range of ways.

What instruments do you apply Reverb to?

Any special instruments/reverbs in particular?

From experience, I've found that a subtle amount of Spring Reverb can be used on Organs and Electric Pianos to add a sense of brightness and warmth to the sound.

Any thoughts?
 
You can use it on every instrument, reverb gives it sound of room, but I know that it is almost always used on snare. You can use it on kick and bass too.
 
I use reverb on almost everything, but I tend to keep it very subtle most of the time. A light reverb with a bit of predelay on plucks tends to sound great.
 
Pretty much everything, not so much on my kicks! If you put it on your bass sounds make sure you either don't apply any reverb to the sub frequencies or put a low cut on the EQ of the reverb, makes the overall mix sound a lot cleaner!
 
really useful on pretty much any track, as it can range from just adding a light touch of more depth to throwing a sound into the background. As you said, for organs and pianos etc its great to liven them up
