Just thought about starting to play the bass guitar. I will be having a lot of free time the next couple of months (maybe a year) and figured now would be the perfect time to learn a different instrument.
The problem is:
I have no clue what bass I should to buy. I want to use it for hiphop and funk basslines. Probably no live usage, just studio. Budget would be around 1200$$. Can anyone hint me in some direction or where i could find more info?
Another option would be to start learning classical guitar first, since I have one lying waste here and never touched it (no I did not pay for it!).
