1. How do you discern and start to figure out which fill elements and sounds would be good for filling up 'empty' frequencies....???
For example...stabs, plucks, impacts, risers, fallers, crashes, one shots, pads and pretty much anything FX related that you would use to fill up empty frequencies and/or for transitions, impacts and tension/release.
2. Do these sounds/fills need to be somewhat 'melodic' in nature....in order to compliment/support and/or have some cohesiveness to your melodic instruments....??? (Main instrument lead, Back up synth, Bassline etc.)
3. What instruments and/or sounds are mostly used for filling up needed frequencies in order to make the song sound fuller/bigger...???
