Im trying to add some rhythm like these 2 songs and the arpeggio sounds like the ones in the tracks and its driving me crazy! The main lead sound playing from the start is that just one note or two? Also in the pete tong song you can hear the arpeggio playing lightly in the background from the start which is filtered out and then it gradually gets louder but I've not idea how to recreate them and its driving me nuts, even though it is probably a piece of piss to do haha!

Also at the start of this song is it just one note looped with delay? Also at 2 minutes 6 seconds you can also hear a sort of looped arpeggio thats been filtered which is similar to the filtered one at the start of the pete tong song.

When i try to recreate these short loops they just don't sound as hypnotic/rhymical. I could listen to them loops for ages and not get sick of them but mine just seem to be really boring even with reverb/delay and a bit of swing. Any tips/help would be much appreciated!!
