Novation kit (K-Station, KS4 & BassStation)

I'm pretty new to this so bear with me.

I'm wondering if by using the K-Station (or preferrably the KS4) I can achieve all the functionality of the BassStation and obviouslly more as well?

Also, what are the main advantages of a KS4 over a K-Station?
 
Sod it, I'm gonna buy the BassStation finishing in a minute on eBay because it's tiny and will fit in my rucksack!
 
I was joking, I didn't just buy it cos of the size (I actually lost the auction, so I didn't buy it at all!).

I do however do my music with another person who lives 1.5 hours from me and travel there by train. Obviouslly a compact keyboard that can be chucked in a bag and carted off on the train is very useful.

I figured this size advantage would encourage me to get more use out of it.
