New Sounds...

I'm tired of these same old VST sounds that everybody using (I know I'm not the only one), so what are some ways to find new sounds? I hear some producers talk about chopping sounds, I never tried it and don't even know where to begin. Any advice or pointers from personal experiences?

You could play around with some synth loops. A synth i love that not many people use is U-He Ace

Spend the time to learn how to program synths if you don't want to sound like everyone else.
