Neo soul conventions

I was wondering if anyone knows neo soul progressions/conventions along the lines of raheem devaugn and Dwele. a lot of their stuff is sampled and I dont so I was wondering if anyone knows some common prgressions that I dont know. So far, I use a lot of ii-V-I(and all the variations) a lot of blues progressions and a lot of chord inversions. I am not looking for notes or any specific progressions. I am looking for common progressions in different modes, keys, etc... Thanks

Yo, take a look at the dvd clips of the Urban Worship DVD, real nice and phat chord pregressions. Jamal Hartwell is a very talented keyboardist. I'm definitly going to buy that DVD. I think its worth the 100 dollars. As far as the neo soul chord progressions, I'm with you on that one. I'm still trying to feel my way around some of the beginner stuff. But If I come up on anything I'll be sure to let you know. Stay up man.
