Need a little help. What the instrument is it?

The instrument starts at 0:10 and sound under arp synths.

I thought it was a harpsichord, but sound a little different.

To answer your question, it sounds like a synth of some sort. It could be an acoustic instrument like you're saying, but with VSTi plugins sounding more and more realistic these days, I wouldn't be surprised to learn it's a synth.
