I've been trying I don't knw how many times to try and replicate this sound and it's been drivin me crazy. I have a MS20 and minimoog and can't get it exactly....I can get close but not exactly. I know it has to do with how the occilators are set tuned but I'm struggling to get it the way I like. Please help!!

(the sound I'm tryin to get is at 36sec and 1:04 either one)

You need to know how to mod the pitch with the LFO.
minimoog does not have a lfo but using the 3rd Osc as one.
It is all on how the mod the sound

Do you basically know how to do this? I have a hard time with the syncing and automation part. I tried to sync my mod wheel with the LFO but i'm basically just messing around till I get some resemblece, I don't know technically what I am doing so if you can help me out in this area. I do understand what you are saying I just don't know exactly how to do it...but i'll play around with it, thanx.

MS-20

Go to the Modulation boxes

You have 2 for filter cuttoff High and Low
You have 1 for pitch (Frequency Modulation)

Go to the Modulation Generator (There is a key and tempo sync buttons)

Waveform (You should know that one)

Frequency/Times also known as rate (The speed of the mod or lfo)

These are some of the areas that you may need to use to get what you are
looking for.

I don't think it's a synth, it sounds more like a pitched up vocal sample to me. Try loading a sample of a female singing an AAH into your sample and play around with it on they keyboard.
