Hi All,

I've been really into Metodi Hristovs tracks as of late and being an aspiring producer I have been trying to replicate something of my own to sound like his. That being said, I wanted to reach out to you guys to see if you have any tips as to how he creates his tracks.

I really like this track --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClF2xB3_--o

and this one --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndMCMQyjWVs

as well i like tracks of Shosho who works with him such as this one --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AorsQBuj_KQ

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

here is his beatport --> https://pro.beatport.com/artist/metodi-hristov/100029

Tutorial: The Basics of Creating Great Tropical House Music | DCC StudiosDCC Studios

Know the feeling[Tried to emulate and merge the styles of negrosaki/stanthebeatsmith and yagmha lol] but it's gonna take learning the basics of sound design and some music theory to really understand all of that.
Also some searches when it comes to specific genres as well.

Like learning effects, automation, mouse methods and/OR drumpads/midi keyboard implementation etc.
Chorus
Delay
Saturation
Side- chaining

Many different effects, many ways to compose and arrange, sequence but understanding/comprehending the rhythm of something is natural.
So in my opinion the question should not exactly be "how to sound like X and Y" but more along the lines of "what methods are common in the genre of what inspired me to do what I do?"
The tools used, the methods and such are also a major factor in whether or not it is possible to achieve similar results at the very slightest if that is the end goal.

But though, I find it's best to learn the generality of it all instead of just you know :/ Used to be all about trap till I started learning more and more. Then you start to get new taste in audio etc.

I forgot to mention I have been producing for about 2-3 years so I do understand he basics. I just wanted to know if anyone can dissect his tracks more for me and give some specifics as to what he is doing in these mentioned tracks for example.
