Melody for PROGRESSIVE HOUSE Help!!!!

What is the best way to start making a melody?? Start with rhythm, bass-line, chords, or create the melody itself?? Basically, what's the most efficient way of making a melody?? How do I get rid of this writer's/creativity block???

You're not gonna like my answer, but its the tried and true method for creating melodies:

SING.
Think of a melody in your head, then build your track around that. Sometimes, having a harmonic framework is helpful to build off of, but it isn't necessary. Just think of an idea, sing it, play it and there you go. People make this melody shit more difficult than it should be.
