What are you using to write your music?

analyze and study other music out there... rip it apart into it's smallest elements and figure out what makes it work.
gain a strong understanding of how various forms of music is structured.
practice, practice, practice and then practice some more until writing and producing music is so second-nature to you that your own musical "voice" emerges.
then just keep on doing it.
eventually if you have the natural ability and innate understanding of music, and you hone your craft, you will write your masterpiece.
