looking for a snare effect before the drop //HOUSE

Hey guys,

I'm new here and i thought you could help me.
Basically what I'm looking for is how to make a pulled out snare sound. I don't know how to describe it in a better way. Unfortunately i cannot post links so far so if you guys want to here that sound, look for Martin Garrix - Animals at around 1:37.
Can you help me?

Is it Original Mix or Radio Edit? Because there 2 different snares at exactly that time depending on wether it's radio or original.
Anyway if it's that fat snare in the Radio Edit at that time, it's called the Pryda Snare (that famous overused snare).
Though if it's that snare in the Original Mix, then I don't know.
 
Not sure which version you're talking about, but both version sound like they reversed the snare and then cut it off so the end tail wasn't long before the hit at the end and then it sounds like they abruptly cut of a fraction of the hit as well and then added a heavy reverb.
 
I researched "Pryda Snare" a lil more, sounds like they also crossfaded some sort of slope soundwave under it to give that RISING feel.
