Long playing singles

I am not sure if this exists but is there a source for long playing recordings of music. I guess I would have to hope the artist made one, but I remember hearing long playing versions of records at night clubs some time ago.

Where did they get it or is there a place to find them or even have them made.?

mmmm Sometimes when a single is released on vinyl they'll include extended play tracks for dj use. I don't believe this is very common anymore other than in dance music. This was popular during the disco era.
