The Lone Trap Beat? Help!

Hey, so I'm making an Instrumental LP entitled 13 or XIII. I'm making it mostly 90's type beats, you know, sampled, basic drums, It has to be done by the third, i have 8 songs so far. I finished a DOPE trap beat, but it uses a 90's type sample. Should I give in and make it not stick with the theme just to get it done? Or try to make a whole new track and make it my best? Would it be ok to have a full LP of 90's shit, then a random trap beat? PLEASE HELP!
