LFO rate. Any conversion method?

Most synths give you the ability to switch between a fixed LFO rate and a free running rate (I.e Rate of 0.11Hz OR Rate of 1/4, 3/4, 3/8 etc etc)
Is there any sort of mathematical conversion method one could use to have an LFO run at a fixed rate?
For example: What value in Hz would you set on a free running LFO to create the same movement as a fixed LFO running at a fixed rate of 4/1? 3/4? 3/8?

Or does it just come down to the producer sitting there and turning the free running LFO knob until he/ she finds a suitable rate?

60/BPM x LFO = Y

Where LFO is the LFO rate in beats and Y is the LFO rate in seconds

For quarter notes divide the bpm by 60 (e.g. 120 bpm would be 2 Hz). You can do this for any other value as well (for eighth notes divide by 30, whole notes by 120, etc.).

So I looked at that and thought I was hallucinating due to my influenza, but a second and a third look as well as doing some quick numbers up in a spreadsheet, confirmed what I thought

this

60/BPM x LFO = Y

is all ass about, i.e., it should read BPM/60 = Y in seconds and 1/Y = LFO rate in Hz

Below is a table of common tempos and the various LFO rates for fixed beats, triplets and dotted notes, including the math behind them
