Kontakt or East West

i have been using some orchestra sound from some 50 dollar kontakt banks ive picked up over time. But ive receantly got the EW composer cloud for orchestra sounds to use in my beats and im not sure which i like better. is there a big quality difference between the two? And any thoughts on these cheaper kontakt banks with strings, Brass, Guitars etc. Im mainly producing Hip Hop

As you say you're not sure which you like better, I don't see the point why you should go the expensive EW route. Sound and instrument selection is a matter of personal taste and workflow. If you don't have a clear preference, choose the cheaper option.
