Keyboard Beats & Trap Producers Sound Question

Seems Like a lot of Trap producers use these massive workstation vsts as a rompler and pick out the sounds they like. Which is totally cool. I like that too. Do any of them start with a synth and do their own sound design for their melodic parts? If so I wanna check out there music.

massive is a synth. i use it alot for my sound design along with serum and fm8. you can do pretty much any type of synth sound with Massive. pads keys drums bass. unless you are talking about using a hardware synth

Thanks poor choice of words on my part. I meant massive as in large not the synth in particular.
