Okay I've been trying to figure out how to create that bassy synth or bass or pad i don't no maybe even moog? In the beginning its reallly deep but not neccesarily a sub. I've tried take a sub and adding noise and stuff didn't work then i tried taking a pad and raising the attack eqing a bit and playing it on the low end no go .If anyone has this technique down I would greatly appreciate it do to the fact that i've been trying for awhile and just can't get it down and that deep sound is in alot of the music style i'd like to create.

also that clams casino i'm god track bassline it may actually be a sub tho but it has like a harmonic to it tho

It's a synth that has been filtered.

Play with synths and filters to get that effect. Sort of like the "Im On One" song. Everyone uses it now

It sounds like more than one sound to me, ran through a filter with the high end cut out.

Well this seems to be the T-Minus production style but i do that alot to. With me, I get a synth I like and bring it to a very low octave where you start to feel the sound more than just hearing it. Then I apply a low pass to the synth; I recommend Fruity Love Philter if your using FL Studio. I add a little resonance to the sound then I usually shape it up with my eq to thin it out a little bit; just my preference though ;).

In accordance with wha has been said, A slight bit of attack on a LPF so that the filter closes when the note is played would help with the tone.

I dont know what bass synth your using but take a Square Wave (drop it down an octave) and Fretless sample cutoff around 95hz.. Fast to medium attack, Medium release, High sustain.. Then throw a slight chorus fx on it.. Oh and make it Legato..

i know this is a late thread but... Ive achieved the same sound via playing with the logic X alchemy synth (bass presets) and sidechaining a warped space designer, most notably air deviser if you want to go with a preset... play with that
