Just Midi

Learn music theory for computer music. It's not that much work, and you'll be better at anything you would do.

Try the Hewitt book "Music Theory for Computer Musicians" ;).

I mean I don't know what else there is to learn... I think I need to know how to stack plugins and instruments... I cant read ****ing books(I don't have the patience)

I know my scales... damnit theyre just combinations of half steps and whole steps... and theyre aren't that many of them... and I know the fcgdaeb thing

and if the pad controller doesn't do what I want it to do then I guess I'm beat... but turning the knobs and tapping the pads in a natural rhytym(even if I change the pitches and make chords and adjust velocity and slice up the midi and automation{meaning like as opposed to pressing all the correct pitches})... should help... at least I think it will
