identify these synths

Hello, first time poster here. I'm still learning about sound designing and oscillators and stuff. If anybody could break down the main synth that starts at the beginning of this song, i'd appreciate it.



I'm not sure but i'm thinking it is a saw wave right? but the buzz is so soft, lush and airy. How would you achieve a similar effect?

Those are very light synths. It sounds like it's extremely close to a sine wave, but there are a few more harmonics in there. Most likely adjusted in the VST, or perhaps there was distortion added. It was certainly low passed pretty low.

Also, to give it that wider, thicker sound, there is chorus put on that synth. And then there's some reverb on it as well, with a fairly short decay, I don't think there's much high damping.

Both of those tracks have that very similar sound, so I it pretty much applies to both.
