I'm interested in the strings used in this track.

does anyone know what kind of vst you would use to make realistic sounding strings like this and how you would get the note shifting so quickly so fast? Not trying to bite this guy's sound, just want to learn more about his composition techniques.

it's called tremolo bowing and you can select it as a style of bowing in miroslav philharmonick or garritan personal orchestra or any of the other better string vst libraries
