I dont understand the difference in these two pitch knobs in Fl Studio

I dont really understand the difference.

I always use the pitch knob under Time Strecthing. But that is not good for tuning things like kick drums etc.

The other one seems better to do so, but i dont really understand why they are so different.

Maybe it might be an easy thing but i just dont get it.

I also sliced a sample and then tried pitching the sample up 500 cents, and both gives me different sounds.

Anyone out there who can help me understand this ??

the top pitch is actually the pitch bend range control

the bottom pitch is the one you would use to change the pitch of the sample

Exactly what BC said... Note the "range" next to the top pitch knob, it's basically the depth of the pitch bend in semi-tones.
