Yeah eye was gonna say wrong forum.. but there's more steps to great marketing than what was posted above.. it can actually hinder you having it across a lot of platforms because you won't necessarily have an immensely concentrated group of followers which is what you want in order to leverage things that you want (i.e. record deal, distribution deal, endorsements etc..) Eye would say the first step is figuring out exactly the type of people you want to hear and know your music.. if it's a small niche start with 1. if it's bigger niche do about 3 different people who you think would enjoy your music and put yourself in their shoes and figure what kind of marketing campaign would catch their eye..
