Hi everybody. I have a question that I would love to be answered. Ive tryed to figure it out on my own but can't. Its like the hi-hat or snare will slow up but the beat itself doesn't. Its kinda hard to explain but I just heard it again on soundclick. Here is the link http://www.soundclick.com/pro/view/01/default.cfm?bandid=243837&songid=4627424&content=song

Listen to the hi-hat and how it kinda slows down then goes back to the regular hi-hat sound. How is this done? Thanx for your help!!! :hello: :hello:

I believe you are talking about where it goes to a "triplet" feel

It is just the way the hat rhythm was written/played.

If you are quantizing, set your quantizing to one of the triplet settings during the part you want the triplet feel... or set the grid to a triplet setting for the section.

Or if you are not quantizing or locking to a grid... just play it that way.

It is like UTFO "Roxanne Roxanne" where he says "explain to me really what doctors must do" :)
