Hi all I've been listening to lots of the funky commercial tech-house that seems to be so popular at the moment and they all seem to have that constant piano/lead/filtered instrument stab on the off-beat of the kick (where the hat also hits). For example - it starts at 1:00 here - Stefano Noferini - Move Your Body (Original Mix) - YouTube (I think its a piano in this) and here from the start - Samuele Sartini - Jumping (Feat. Katherine Ellis) (Crazibiza Vocal Remix) on Vimeo and here at 0:30 - Pink Fluid - ***** Lady (Crazibiza Remix).mpg - YouTube and here at 0:45 - Tradelove - All Right (Original Mix) - YouTube Any instruction on how to recreate this? It seems to be such a constant in this genre of music but I just can't get it right. Is it a simple short piano chord stab with a low filter over the top? or is it a lead or another instrument? What are they doing to it? Can I make it or something similar in sylenth with ableton?Any help would be appreciated - it's been driving me crazy! Many thanks |
