How to make low rider oldies music???

I want to make the classic oldies vibe in my beats

I was wondering what instruments were usually used in making low rider oldies
I noticed it has bass guitar with lots of plucking
But the strings and the way they set up the brass and how the notes are usually played is what I have difficulty on.

Any advice??
