How Good Is Your Keyboard/Midi Timing When Producing Beats? My Tips + Video

In January, I discovered an skill that was asleep inside of me, "Godly Timing" I got so good at it by accident. I always add hip hop drums to every song I used to listen to on the radio banging my hands on the table. Thats my tip, if you add drums to all the songs you listen to , using your hands and a table or chair, whatever,your timing brain muscle will improve over time.

yeah, timing is an skill that takes time to master. I see more and more people making videos drawing notes on the DAWs piano rolls, and less people producing using the midi controller and timing.

Quantize, ...but I think human error sounds good. The timing from a human will never be perfect but that gives a real vibe. You can tell a computer produced track from a mile away but hey, ...it's perfectly in time.

You are right, the only people who got peffect timing are the ones playing in bands like Jazz,Rock, Salsa and many more.
