How to get THAT piano sound? VST or recorded piano ?

Hello guys,
Just wanted to know how to get the piano sound so good like in the drop of this song ? You think it is made using VST or recorded piano?
Probably right compression and sidechain plays big role here. Any ideas?

I don't know which section you're calling "the drop;" on a quick scan through I heard several dynamic breakdowns, but nothing I'd think of as a classic drop. Could you post a time marker regarding the sound you're hearing?

There are several keyboard sounds used in the tune, and they could be recorded "live" or via software, but if I had to guess, I'd say "software" (just due to the ubiquity of such processes nowadays). There is a pretty prominent electric piano/Rhodes sound-- is that what you are asking about?

Ah. Maybe try mixing your piano sound with a marimba, xylophone, or tongue drum sample?
