what is the name of and how do i create that kind of ascending sound used in seconds 41-44? Pretty sure Jay z has alot of it on his past two records

Pitch shifting any kind of sound will do this, it's called a Riser. usually white or pink noise is involved.. Tons and tons and tons and tons of sample packs contain these.

I thought as much. So it's just a simple riser with a snare?
