So I'm sure plenty of beatmakers have heard this style of kick/bass, but I can't figure out how to make it on my own..
I'm sure there's some side chaining involved, but I don't know how to make the kicks thump like they do, and I don't know if there's a technique they use to make the bass swing like that. Here are a few examples of the kick/bass combination I'm talking about.
