How do i make a Pad sound full?

Hi im new to the forums and i wonder How i can make a Pad sound full! should there be some kind of subbass? Kind regards:)

Like said above, layering multiple pads. Also stacking a chord to multiple octaves, adding noise, saturation, even distortion. Letting a slow LFO modulate the volume or frequency.
 
pads are cool to design because of their envelope

you don't use sine wave and triangle because it gives you nothing to work with but a saw wave and the long decay/sustain of pad envelope is what gives you really good space to be creative
