How Do I get this Smooth Bass Sound?

Hey guys I'm in need of some help trying to find this certain bass sound. I know that its a synth, and it doesn't sound too complex. So how would I go about building this synth sound? And what effects could I add? Is it heavily compressed?
I have the NI Synths and the Logic stock Synths.
For some reason the presets I've been running into sound too subby or EDM style.

this is sounding like P-Bass with the tone control wound back

this is sounding like a J-Bass with the tone control half back and some subtle flanging to make it sound almost fretless
