How did Travis Scott get these hi-hats sounding like this?

I am obsessed with the sound of these hi-hats that start at 0:40 they have an gritty 90's hiphop feel to them.
Anyone know the samples originally used for these, or any effects to get remotely close to the sound of them?

they also come back in at 2:23 for a better listen.

Wondagurl(not travis scott is a wizard). They sound like they were either sampled from a vinyl record or passed through a vinilyzing/Lo-fi simulating plugin like izotope vinyl. I suggest going through one of the 9th Wonder kits that are found pretty much everywhere online if you look. They have plenty of similar sounding Hi-Hats.
