how can i make my track sound less crappy?

so here's the different parts of the track (i'm splitting them since this isn't the showcase thread, but the whole track is on my soundcloud)

i've tried to do everything i could; adding variation, using atmospheric samples, eqing my synths, eqing my drums.
but somehow the track sounds like crap. i've tried comparing with the pros, but i can't point out what. it's just boring.

what should i work on?

When you have a crappy song some of things you should do is tighten up your playing. Pick the best sound that will gell right off the bat as much as possible with to little mixing. It's all performance wise and how everything compliment each other. If you have try all of this and still find it crappy then most likely it's your mix.
