With all the swirly fx and all that good stuff? I'm not use to synthesizing kicks so any advice is helpful thanks =)

Well good reverb is the secret to big hall kicks. I suggest getting two mid kicks (lows cut out completely). Stack them together while adding reverb to one of them, then get a third kick with really boomy lows.

As far as reverbs go you should look up Altiverb from Audio Ease, its perfect for the job.

ya layer your kicks, assign them to differnt mixer tracks and play with some dryness and some reverb.. play with the high and low filters and maybee shorten the release of the reverb.!? I dunno man, I remeber i used to never **** with reverb but now i cant live without it.. hall settings by default are a good do too, but play with the knobs man, filters and cutoffs just some thoughts.

Yep, reverb and maybe some delay. But to avoid everything becoming muddy and undefined it is important to use low/high cuts, filtering and some clever eq.
