How can I make this hollow tom lead?

Hey all,

I've been trying to make this hollow, percussive, tom lead. I tried to tune and layer different toms into Kontakt but I just cant seem to get a glidey, hollow punchy sound.
Any tips to make this lead?

so it's a water gong style sound with no water obviously present

- the sounds in question sound more like a small cooking pot being played and manipulated with some pitch bend than a tom so could be cowbells with pitch bend and glissandos applied
