I love when this beat drops in, and kendrick starts rapping. This is obviously a very famous verse in general, but I'm more concerned with beats like this. I hear them all the time. There isn't really a chord progression (or if there are chords, its just I-I-I-I).
1) I'm assuming it's from the high energy vocals being looped
2) The bass doesn't seem to be adding all that much to it.
3) Obviously that dramatic lead up helps a bit
Can anyone else help out?
