Does anyone have any ideas on how I could replicate this effect? I'm trying to get the distortion/warm fuzz on the tail end of the organ, not the organ itself. In the video of him explaining the production, he calls it "static distortion," but google/youtube don't seem to have anything about that, at least in the audio world.
The song is Whole Lotta Lovin' by DJ Mustard Ft. Travis Scott. I don't have 5 posts under my belt so I can't post the link, or else I would have. The sound first starts at 00:16.
Also, there is a video of Mustard breaking down the production for the song. It's posted on the HipHop Wired Youtube channel and it's the 4th result for me when I search Whole Lotta Lovin' on Youtube. At about 3 minutes in is when he "explains" the sound.
Any help is appreciated!
