help with chords and melody volume

alright, so in my new beat(fl studio) while the chords and the melody are playing at the same time.. the volume of the melody lowers and the you can only hear the chords... is there anyway that I can make it so the you can hear the melody and chords equally ?
 
Lots of ways to fix this.

Simply raising the volume of the vocal or lowering the chords. I assume you wouldn't be asking if this simple fix was what you want but I like to be complete :)

Automation - Make it so the chord volume lowers when the melody comes in.

Eq carving - boost the main frequency on the melody whilst lowering the same on the chords and vice versa.

sidechaining - compress the chords everytime the melody plays (might not sound good though)

Personally I'd go for the EQ here to try to get the sounds to blend well together - it's an important thing to learn anyway.
