Hello, I tried making reese bass in Serum, it sounds good, but the slides doesnt sound so massive, what are your tips for massive sub basses which are good for sliding?
I can't tell what's wrong with music from a visual screenshot of a synth, audio is much more useful, also you haven't been very specific about what 'massive' means so I don't know what you want it to sound like.
Also, in my mind the reese is more about mid-range grit than actual sub.
In any case, ye olde technique for it heavily revolves around resampling and processing the hell out of it. What you get from the synth (detuned saws) is just the starting point.
It won't sound as powerful as it can be and sounds horrible on anything but a few notes.
But when you call it a 'slide sub bass' I think of a completely different sound..
