Evolving Future Bass/Future House 'techy' pad sound.

hard to explain. But it starts off like a very thick sound then evolves almost into something else. Via a filter opening or closing.


Sounds like a base foundation sound with nothing but a filter opening up. Im assuming it should be pretty easy to create the movement with a filter but its the foundation sound I'm curious about. Usually used for evolving or chord stabs. Almost sounds like a cat meowing but synthesized and turned into a pad haha





in the above its playing right from the start. A bit lighter than what I want but thats a good foundation to start off of.

I'd start by using a pulse-width square wave at about 72%, very similar harmonic content to a saw wave so could be a mix of both
 
It's a regular detuned saw-synth with an ADSR controlled lowpass filter with a bunch of resonance on it. Use a fast attack time, slow release, and a sustain at maybe 30-50 % of the maximum value.
